Oh hell no. You done found our Chakra Badge for 2024.
Yeah it was supposed to be 2023. But anything worth doing is worth taking an extra year to do, right?

Umm, okay, specs:

• Single board design — no more sandwich boards
• RP2040 powered. No more soldered-on Pico
• GC9A01 round direct-attached TFT display — NOT a touch sensor, don’t break it
• no buttons on the front panel — touch pads on each of the snake segments
• laser-engraved/cut acrylic wings
• lipo battery
• 3d-printed battery protection
• USB-C connector
• Assembled in the USA by Bradan Lane Studio

We’ll have games in the final firmware but we’re yanking them out for presale because this is a competition with prize trophies.  So presale firmware will have some cool animations and things to play with, but not the final games.

We’ll have them up for pre-defcon sales as soon as we get the documentation into a suitable condition.

The plan:

• Offer some for sale pre-defcon (limited, fun-only firmware)
• Bring some to defcon for direct sales with final firmware
• Release final firmware on defcon day 1 so that everyone can play along and compete for the trophies
